Reviews of Our Treatment Programs

We feel deeply grateful when a client completes one of our treatment programs, and we’re equally excited to receive feedback about their experience at Footprints. This feedback helps us continually improve and evolve our services.

I had tried numerous programs to stay clean and stay on the right path, nothing stuck with me until I came to Footprints

Our Programs

Medical Detox

A medically-assisted process that begins your recovery. This step is necessary for anyone who has a physical dependency on alcohol or other substances. We provide medication to offset any symptoms of withdrawal, for a safe and comfortable step into recovery. Our chef will prepare nutrient-rich meals for you while you relax, and you will have 24hr. access to our nursing staff and behavioral health technicians.

Inpatient Residential

Our most clinically intensive program, inpatient residential is focused on delving deep into the root motivators behind your addiction. Chances are, substances were once a solution to unresolved trauma, feelings of discomfort, and/or used as a form of self-medication. Together, we will work through whatever is at the root for you. During this stage of recovery, you will still have 24hr. medical monitoring.

Partial Care

Our partial care program is a step between inpatient and outpatient treatment. During this level of care, our focus is on your holistic healing— mental wellness, physical health, and spiritual connectedness. You will attend therapy five times per week, from 9am to 3pm, with weekly individual sessions to work through personal topics. Family therapy is a huge building block in partial care as well.

Intensive Outpatient

Intensive outpatient at Footprints is a flexible, non-restrictive program that allows for clients to learn how to be independent and what life in sobriety looks like for them. Our intensive outpatient program offers morning and evening therapy sessions, and can be worked into even the busiest of schedules. Family therapy continues in IOP, as it does in all of our programs.

Outpatient

During our outpatient program, clients will learn how to balance life and recovery, while still working on themselves. Outpatient is the ideal program for those who work full-time or are enrolled in any form of higher education. If you need a job or would like to enroll or re-enroll in school, your case manager will help you do so. Clients in OP are active members of whichever program of recovery they have chosen.

Alumni Community

Support doesn’t end when treatment ends at Footprints to Recovery. We understand the need for ongoing accountability and friendship in recovery, which is why we developed a comprehensive alumni program. We offer activities and events that promote support, community, and service.

In addition to weekly alumni recovery support meetings for processing, skill-building, and ongoing peer support, our alumni coordinator(s) host events and activities often for our alumni to stay in touch and always have a group of friends nearby.

Family Members of Our Alum.

For family members of our alum., you are welcomed into a parent/family support group that takes place weekly from the moment your loved one enters our care. This family support group is held virtually on Thursday evenings, for your convenience and to include out-of-state parents.

Our family support group is led by a clinician, and allows family members to process their loved one’s recovery, ask questions, learn about the disease of addiction, understand the best ways to support their loved one, and to connect with other parents or family members who have gone through or are going through the same thing. Your attendance in this group is always welcomed, despite your loved one’s graduation from our program(s)/

Our Clientele

Local

About half of our clients live close to or within the communities in which we are located. Our drug and alcohol treatment programs are conveniently located in the suburbs of major metropolitan areas. If you live within an hour of our facilities, we will send a car to pick you up and bring you to our facility.

If you want to be driven to treatment by a loved one, it is required that your loved one is sober.

Out-of-State

Half of our clients travel in from another state to attend treatment at Footprints. We are a very travel-friendly provider, and often can apply insurance benefits to cover the cost of travel. We will send a car to drive you to the airport, if a loved one cannot. Your safety is our priority.

Your treatment liaison will coordinate all travel, keep tabs on your flight, and send a driver to pick you up from the nearest airport when you arrive.

Client Breakdown

Who attends our treatment programs is a frequently asked question. Our clientele naturally ebbs and flows, but what we can tell you is that each client wants to be in treatment with us. We do not accept involuntary admits, the person attending treatment want to be here because he or she wants the help to recover.

Our Experienced Care Team

Our programming is dependent on a high level of medical and clinical care. Impeccably educated, detail-oriented, and acting through experienced knowledge is how we define our care team.
