An hour outside of Chicago, our drug and alcohol treatment facility is in the suburban city of Elgin, IL. A peaceful and removed location, Footprints in Elgin offers a full continuum of care, from medical detox to outpatient treatment.
We are happy to serve clients across the country, as much of our treatment population consists of individuals who fly or drive in from out-of-state.
Clients can choose to attend our programming whilst living at home for most of our programs, or may choose to live in a sober living environment for the duration of treatment. Our programs are highly customizable and completely tailored to your needs. This level of customization and our high-quality care is consistent throughout each Footprints™ location.
We offer a truly comprehensive range of drug and alcohol programs to treat the root cause(s) of substance abuse. With clinical excellence standing at the heart of our programs, our master’s and PhD clinicians will work with you to overcome and unseat the fear, trauma, resentment, and other blockages that cause self-soothing and self-medicating behaviors to prevent a return back to maladaptive coping. You will learn new, healthy coping skills and together we will rebuild a life of health, happiness, and purpose.
As a nationally-recognized behavioral healthcare provider, all of our drug and alcohol treatment programs are founded on dual diagnosis care. During your stay in treatment with us, we will treat your subsance use disorder simultaneous to your mental health disorder(s). We provide medication management and ongoing psychiatric appointments for clients who have a mild to severe mental health disorder that requires treatment.
If you already work with a psychiatrist and/or psychologist that you would like to continue care with, we are happy to coordinate appointments with those providers during your treatment. However, you will meet with a mental health counselor (daily, if you would like), as well as engage in individual and group therapy sessions throughout treatment. Intensive therapy is at the core of our programming, with your best interest being above all else. If you have any special requests or needs, please let us know so that we are able to cater to them. Our programs will be individualized to meet your specific needs and goals.
We offer a structured, clinically-intensive array of treatment programs for those whose primary concern is their mental health. Our mental health treatment programs offer diagnostic services, treatment programming, medication management, routine psychiatry, mental health counseling, psychology, and family therapy.
All mental health programs are available in Hamilton, New Jersey.
Our Elgin location in northern Illinois offer serenity, safety, and privacy. Most clients who would like to recover peacefully and privately will choose Elgin.
Elgin, Illinois is about 1 hour outside of Chicago.
Our location in Hamilton Township is a top choice for those who are looking to change their lives. We offer both drug and alcohol treatment programs and mental health treatment programs at our two locations near Princeton, NJ.
Hamilton Township is accessible from PA, NYC, CT
Aurora, Colorado is just 30 minutes outside of Denver.
Our medical detox and inpatient residential programs have expansive mountain views and crisp air for a distraction-free recovery.
Our beautiful facility in Centennial is centrally located and offers clients a safe, clean, and state-of-the-art space for rehabilitation.
Centennial, Colorado is 26 minutes outside of Denver.

We will assign one of our team members to act as your treatment liaison for the duration of this process.
We will plan and coordinate all moving parts to put together an intervention for your loved one.
We provide a biopsychosocial assessment for treatment before recommending any program or plan of action.
Choose whichever program and location is best for you or your loved one to have a distraction-free recovery. We will book travel and transportation to and from any of our centers.
Addiction is a progressive disease; it will only get worse the longer it goes untreated. We work quickly to ensure a place when you're ready for treatment.
