Drug & Alcohol Treatment Programs

Throughout our drug & alcohol treatment programs at Footprints to Recovery, we guide you in re-building a life reliant on meaningful experiences & relationships, healthy coping mechanisms, and enriching your life in ways that bring you closer to your goals.

Medically-Assisted Detox Program

Step out of addiction and into recovery, with the help of our doctors of addiction medicine and 24hr. nursing staff. In your own private bedroom and with the use of medication to ease symptoms, you will undergo a monitored withdrawal. This process takes about one week, but may be more or less depending on your condition and alcohol/drug use history. We will suggest a length of stay after your initial over-the-phone assessment.

Residential Inpatient Program

Inpatient treatment at Footprints to Recovery is focused on recovering the mind from the thoughts, behaviors, and actions that once perpetuated your drug or alcohol consumption. We rely on our experienced clinical team to collaborate with you in identifying what drives your substance abuse— many people may abuse substances, but not everyone will do it for the same reason and to the same extent.

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

In partial-hospitalization, you will have some medical monitoring and treatment from physicians and nursing staff, as opposed to the 24hr medical care during inpatient. In PHP, our focus is on your mental and emotional recovery, therefore, we provide intensive clinical care at its foundation. You can choose to live in a sober living environment during this program, or attend programming whilst living at home.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

Our intensive outpatient program provides structure through ongoing therapy, while also being flexible and non-restrictive. IOP helps those in early recovery thrive within our unique community. You can choose to live in a sober living environment during this program, or attend programming whilst living at home.

Outpatient Program (OP)

Our outpatient program provides a safe space and flexible schedules to prioritize working on yourself. You can choose to live in a sober living environment during this program, or attend outpatient whilst living at home. Our goal in OP is to help you learn and practice balancing life and recovery. We offer structured support and accountability, without imposing a ton of rules that restrict you.

Sober Living

Our sober living environment is available to you for the duration of any Footprints program, and after you complete the program. We allow our clients to choose when they feel ready to leave the comfort of our sober living environment. This practice extends our community, amenities, structure, and support staff to clients who are not quite ready to move back home or into a new apartment or house.

Methodology
Therapy

At the heart of our rehabilitation programs is clinical excellence. We provide a range of therapies, clinical direction, and daily detailed clinical meetings to establish each client's progress and current struggles.

Mental Health

Mental health is a huge component of treatment at Footprints. Not only are alcohol and substance use disorders categorized as a mental health disorder in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM) of Mental Disorders, but of the 20.3 million adults with substance use disorders, almost 38% also have a mental health disorder.

Family Healing

Family therapy is a building block of our programming here at Footprints. We facilitate in-person and virtual family therapy sessions for spouses or significant others, parents, children, and siblings. We strongly encourage participation in family therapy for those who are able and healthy enough to have involvement in the treatment process.

Support Network

Introducing the group therapy model early in treatment helps us to lay the groundwork for our clients to anticipate support from healthy, reciprocal relationships. We grow this notion through each conversation with a clinician and further cement it in programs of recovery. Building a network of support provides accountability, connection, socialization, motivation, advice, relatability, interpersonal effectiveness, and so much more.

Recovery Programs

We help our clients establish a strong program of recovery. Whether clients choose a traditional 12 step program (i.e. Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, etc.) or an alternative program. We offer Refuge recovery and Recovery Dharma, which are programs based on Buddhist principles, as well as SMART recovery, Celebrate Recovery (a Christian-based program), and many more.

Self-Sufficiency

Our goal before you complete our program(s) is to set you up for success in sobriety. We help you build life skills with nutrition and finance workshops, vocational services to help you get a job or go back to a job, assistance with enrolling or re-enrolling in college or trade schools, and we teach you how to be your own health advocate.

Our inpatient drug & alcohol treatment programs provide the highest quality of care— evolved over a decade of experience as a provider.

Group Sizes

Our client-to-staff ratio

We believe large group therapy sessions deter clients from properly reaping the benefits of the group therapy model.

Most specialized therapy groups accommodate 3-5 clients per clinician.

Our largest group size, seen in skills-based groups (i.e. life skills, vocational skills) do not exceed 15 clients in one group.

We are an in-network provider for TriWest, Tricare, and other health insurance policies through the VA.
