Inpatient Residential Program

A clinically-intensive, private program for recovery from drug and alcohol addiction.

Our inpatient residential program uses methods drawn from evidence-based research. This program is clinically-driven, while still providing medical care alongside your individual therapy sessions.

Inpatient Treatment Program

Inpatient substance abuse treatment or residential rehabilitation is designed for people with severe addiction or addiction relapses, a mental health disorder, or co-occurring disorders. It combines medically supported programs with the therapy techniques that are most likely to result in long-term recovery maintenance.

When you enter inpatient treatment, you’ll live in a non-hospital, licensed residential setting. At Footprints, we provide a safe, comfortable, home-like environment that allows for medical and clinical care around the clock. This is a great option for those with longer-term needs requiring extra support throughout their recovery journey.

Same-Day Admissions Available.

If you or a loved one is ready to enter a medical detox center now, we do have availability. Give us a call to secure your spot— we only accept a finite number of clients, as to maintain a low client-to-staff ratio.

Why Choose Residential Inpatient Treatment?

A clinically-intensive inpatient program like ours will treat the underlying cause(s) to self-medicating behavior.

For many people, living in an inpatient treatment environment is essential to the success of their sustained recovery. Why? The hardest part of sobriety might be learning to reorganize your life around anything other than alcohol and drugs. Going straight from detox to an inpatient rehab program can help, because we know there is a period where you will need to rediscover who you are without drugs or alcohol. To aid in this, you will have several individual therapy sessions in your treatment plan that cover the objective of redefining your identity.

When you first become sober, returning to your old life and community is stressful. It is especially hard if you were dependent on drugs or alcohol for a long time. You may also feel extreme tension going back to work, explaining your absence to friends, or getting back into a routine at school. This shift is something that we prepare for throughout our treatment programs. Our clinicians will mitigate stressors through experiential and other therapies, so that you know how to handle anxieties in a healthy and decisive way.

Residential treatment is usually recommended for individuals who struggle with the issues below:

  • Serious addictions that require a higher level of care
  • Co-occurring physical or mental health conditions
  • An unstable or dangerous home setting
  • Relapse

Our inpatient residential program offers 24hr access to clinical and medical care. You are more likely to keep your sobriety throughout this vulnerable period of early recovery, since there are few opportunities to relapse. We say ‘few’ opportunities instead of no opportunities because we are a completely voluntary program. We are not a lock-down facility, a choice we made to ensure that those enrolled in our programs have a true desire to live a different lifestyle— one without drugs and alcohol, a life centered on integrity and inner strength.

Although our outpatient program provides a comparable degree of treatment intensity, inpatient residential rehab offers a more controlled, clinical environment.

Here are just a few of the benefits in choosing residential rehab

Inpatient at Footprints to Recovery

24hr medical monitoring

In addition to our doctors who oversee your medical care, we provide an extra layer of safety with our 24 hour nursing staff. Our nurses monitor vitals and progress, administer medication, and attend to any after-hours medical needs.

Chef-prepared Meals

A private chef will prepare three meals per day for you and is able to cater to any dietary restrictions or preferences you may have. With his own knowledge of nutrition, our chef has ample experience in knowing how to help the body's healing process with whole foods.

Acupuncture

Footprints to Recovery encourages everyone to try holistic therapies during recovery, which is why we provide a range of holistic therapeutic services— including acupuncture.

Massage Therapy

One-two times per week, our chiropractic practitioner will take appointments for therapeutic massage therapy sessions. As with all holistic services listed, massage therapy is included at no extra cost— even if you are privately paying for treatment.

Yoga

We have a dedicated yoga studio within our residential treatment center. A certified yoga instructor teaches classes at varying intensities throughout the week. You may also utilize the studio and equipment whenever you would like.

Medication

We offer medication-assisted treatment through all levels of care here at Footprints. The medications we offer for MAT include: buprenorphine and naloxone, buprenorphine, buprenorphine XR, naltrexone, and acamprosate calcium.

Licensed Professionals

Highly-educated and accomplished professionals run our medical and clinical operations. Board-certified medical doctors who specialize in addiction medicine, as well as doctoral clinicians with a range of specializations, will be on your team throughout the recovery process.

Exercise

Included in your treatment is a gym membership. Although exercise is not required, we believe it helps to restore the body and provides multiple benefits for your mental health.

Chiropractic Services

Once a week, our chiropractor will provide adjustments and other chiropractic forms of physical therapy to clients who can benefit from those services. As we keep a low client-to-staff ratio, if you would like to see our chiropractor, you are able to.

Breathwork

At least one time a week, one of our holistic practitioners will lead a meditative exercise. This includes guided meditations, breathwork, sound baths, and independent meditations. You will learn breath work, which aids in meditative experiences and can manage symptoms of anxiety, depression, and general disconnection.

Case Management

Part of your team here at Footprints is a case manager. With an educational background in social work, our case managers have the resources and the drive to set you up in sobriety. Case managers will act as your advocate, point of contact, and link to life outside of treatment.

Case managers directly assist with any ongoing legal, social, or housing issues. Your case manager will handle anything from communicating with the court or probation officers to filing family medical leave act (FMLA) paperwork. Not all cases are the same, which is why we match you with a case manager who has experience in cases similar to your own. If you are in legal trouble, needing to apply for unemployment, wanting to re-enroll back in college or trade school, etc. your case manager will be a driving force on your team to help set you up for success.

No strings attached, no obligations, just information and a roadmap to guide you through this. Our team will coordinate your care, all you need to do is take the first step.
